Even in the uncertain economic climate, 2009 was a spectacular year for American Whitewater! Support for this success came from our members, industry partners and foundations. .....

American Whitewater Senate Energy Committee reported 32 bills out of committee today that are now eligible for consideration by the full Senate including Wild and Scenic River bills for Middle Fork Snoqualmie WA (S. 721), White Clay Creek DE/PA (S. 853), Molalla River OR (S. 1369), and Illabot Creek WA (S. 1593). Also included is a Wild a...nd Scenic study bill for the Elk River WV (H.R. 3113).
