does anyone know If Ubuntu Studio is worth it for someone who just
casually does photo editing? I've heard that its a bit more labor
inensive then standard Ubuntu.
James Wilkerson Angelo Does anyone know how to get around this in Ubuntu,"The package libwebkit-1.0-1 needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it? I've tried sudo apt-get remove libwebkit-1.0-1 plus many other commands to remove it but couldn't. It has lots of dependencies. I'm stuck basically because I can't upgrade to Ubunt ...u 9.10 Karmic, and I can't remove nor reinstall libwebkit-1.0-1.
Jamie A fit for my clients (and me) are OOo, FF, TB, VLC, filezilla, etc etc. Not the OS itself, but what you run on it. I "sell" M$ office, but I don't sell that much. ;) Open does not have to be the OS, but everything on top is just fine. Many of us out there are installing these for clients as choices, and educating everyday.
