Dia de Muertos.…Day of the Dead. This day is celebrated in Mexico. It’s a day where friends and family get together to pray and remember those who have died. The celebration occurs on November 1st and 2nd in connection with the catholic holidays All Saints Day and All Souls Day.
The traditional way to celebrate this ...day in Mexico is by building altars in honor of the deceased. Sugar skulls, marigolds, favorite foods and beverages are some of the gifts friends and family place on the altar or grave site.
