Ο Russell Shaw Higgs I do not want friendfeed as a facebook status. Where is the option to switch that off. I will have to remove friendfeed for now until we are given an option to control it.

I like the FriendFeed app, except for the new auto-updating my status. I use the networks for different things; I don't necessarily want posts from twitter going to my facebook people. I didn't disable the app...I like my delicious links showing up in my profile. Instead, I just removed twitter from the sites that F...riendFeed is monitoring for me.
Please let me know when you add finer-grained controls into which tweets are pulled as status messages!

Ο Darryn Like many others, I too am removing the FF app from my facebook profile and closing my FF account. The whole reason for me using this service was because it DIDN'T post directly to FB status but to the wall; as this has now been removed I might as well install a Twitter app and cut out the middle man. It is not good cu...stomer service to assume what customers need or tell them what they are going to have, and it is incredibly BAD customer service not to inform customers of a change to service until AFTER it has gone live.

Ο Edgar the new status update feature is good, but i believe some options are required. for instance i don't want my status update to be a reply i did on twitter. like something starting in !@username or something like that. and also allow me to choose what services get pushed into my facebook stream. thanks!!!

Ο Peyton Welch Stafford All the social networking (marketing) sites seem to think that they will increase their market share by mutually cross-posting everything, rather than each one trying to dominate a specific market segment. The consequence of this is that users can no longer control which group of prospects and customers receives a spec...ific message. Likewise, each user will receive redundant and annoying messages containing the same content from the same "friends" via multiple networks. Whether this will result in a diminished ROI for client advertisers will be a subject for future analysis.
