Big Sky’s Big Grass Festival will be taking place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday! We have a whole host of great musicians in town, including the winners of 12 Grammy Awards, the Jerry Douglas Band, on Saturday night. Things kick off with some apres ski music from 4pm each evening at Whiskey Jack’s and the Carabiner; on Friday this will be followed by a performance from Brother Mule in the Upper Summit Lobby at 6.30pm. On Saturday night the festival stage in the Missouri Ballroom is the place to be, with some great artists playing from 6-11pm. Tickets are $25 in advance by calling 995-8072; these will also be honored at Whiskey Jack’s that night. Every evening over the weekend, there will be live music in Whiskey Jack’s until 1am; tickets are $15 on the door Friday & Sunday, and $10 on Saturday. Shows in the Carabiner and the Summit Lobby will be free.
