It's really troubling hearing Obama dismissing the Goldstone Report as flawed, even Israel's own human-rights organisation B'tselem documented the killing of civilians not involved in hostilities. I have lost respect for him(Obama) and such politicians who stick their finger in the air before making a decision. Obama's rebuke is no difference than ... See MoreBush & Cheney's rebuke on Human Rights Groups about violations on detainees and Iraqi citizens. Once again, we see Western Nations failing to critize to what the UN, HRW & AI report as War crimes on civilians due to their cowardice and fear of political reprisals. I guess my blatant comments are due to the fact that i didn't grow up in this part of the world where everyone is filled with the holocaust guilt. And fyi i'm not denying nor undermining the holocaust at all and neither am i sympathising with Hamas for their actions unacceptable & deserve condemnation. But at the same time, i find the West giving Israel so many get out of jail cards just simple to the holocaust guilt. It's impossible to have an open discussion without being branded anti-semitic, and i think it's ridiculous and a pathetic approach to discourage debate. Let me get this out in the open air, i identify myself by race first, nationality, tribe and religion(don't practice) last. I find both the Arabs and Israelis being guilty of derailing peace, and question their integrity & moral grounds when it comes to human rights violations. The Arabs have long standing history in their involvement in slavery, racial & ethnic cleansing in the past and currently in Sudan. The Israelis on the other hand who suffered and victims of the holocaust but didn't hesitate in supplying and facilitating military intelligence & weapons to the the South African Apartheid Regime that was used to slaughter & commit heinous crimes against countless of non-whites. Humanity is the same regardless of your nationality, race, ethnicity or religion and the world does not revolve around Israel & Palestine.
