A group whose distinctly ethereal and gossamer sound virtually defined the enigmatic image of the record label 4AD, Cocteau Twins were founded in Grangemouth, Scotland, in 1979. Taking their name from an obscure song from fellow Scots Simple Minds.

Paul David Stevenson To me their are the Cocteaus and then there is everything else...have been my faves ever since the early 80s...dont listen to them while driving as you cant help but well up,the tears stop you from seeing anything at all....yes the most beautful sound ;-)
