Gene Robbins Does anyone else have a feeling that if "A Game of Thrones" pilot gets picked up by HBO we'll all of a sudden see a near simultaneous release of "A Dance of Dragons" to build up more interest in the show?
Jason Lauth you know with this book takeing years to finish i doubt were ever gonna see the end of it! he aint getting any younger! i forsee a lot left unsaid!

Siavosh Zarrasvand I think Martin is behaving bad towards his readers. In the end of AFFC he promise that A Dance With Dragons will be coming next year. That was 2005. Since that we've been waiting 06, 07, 08, 09 and it is probably not even gonna come during 2010. Its a shame.

There have been quite a lot of fans naming their kids after the characters.
It's a good sign. However, given Martin's "behavior" ... how would you react if those characters got killed ? ( and before the end of everything I bet we'll see a major proportion of them perish ... in ways you dare not imagine )
Camilla Tomba Hey guys does anyone remember wether Ned's bones had already reached Winterfell when it got burnt down? The last time they are mentioned (as far as I remember) is in a Clash of Kings, when the silent sisters bring them to Catelyn at Riverrun.

Paris I'm in the middle of the Storm of Swords now, and it is veeeery exciting. Nevertheless I still regard the first book the BEST! Easily the most INTENSE series i've ever read.
