Act!vated Storytellers
"Your animated movements, expressions and humor kept everyone involved throughout. It was wonderful to see children participate in performing, and your use of sign language was a special treat as well." ~Kathleen Buettner, Librarian, Monterey, CA",

Kimberly in Follow the Buzz

The Act!vated Storytellers

In the tradition of vaudeville performers, the Act!vated Storytellers travel the USA 365 days a year, giving exciting and dynamic performances at schools and libraries. They act!vate folk tales from all across the world, including Mongolia, Africa, Japan, United States and Russia.

The Act!vated Storytellers bring live theatrical shows to YOU. We work with schools, libraries and other community organizations to bring inspiring and thought-provoking stories to your community. Each 45 minute multicultural theatrical production is full of nonstop action, American Sign Language, acrobatic tricks, physical comedy, slapstick, audience participation, imaginative props and it is all presented before a gigantic oversized book.

"When Kimberly threads her whole body through the oval of a tennis racket it is visual comedy worthy of Lucille Ball herself." ~Timothy Tomasik, Youth Services Librarian, Cordova, CA

While you are waiting for a show to come to your town, keep your family with our free monthly Ac!vated Stories podcast (over 7,000 downloads each month) and our new travel videos.

"I want to extend my appreciation for a fantastic performance. I heard nothing but praise from the principal, teachers, parents and students. Mrs. House, the principal, was thrilled and commented that she it was a rare occurance that the students pay full attention for an entire performance but your show kept them completely captivated. My own two kids gave the show rave reviews and considering that my oldest is hard to impress these days - that's saying something. The show was well worth waiting for your tour to come to the mid-Atlantic region. Have a safe journey as you continue around the US." ~Mary, Assembly Coordinator, Plum Point Elementary School, Huntingtown, MD
