Professionals from all around the world will converge to celebrate the importance of type as the means of human communication, and to explore its history and its future .... Font Bureau's own David Berlow will speak about translating his experiences in designing type for small print to the challenges of developing fonts for the web. Dyana Weissman will present "Heart to Heart: A Collaboration Across Cultures." And Roger Black will join with Berlow for a survey of the technical hurdles and the big issues of getting non-system fonts right for the web and the screen.
