Citizens Awareness Network VCAN will be door knocking in VT on Saturdays.

VCAN is door knocking to close Vermont Yankee. For the second summer, VCAN volunteers are finding hundreds of Vermonters who want the VT Legislature to close Vermont Yankee in 2012. Reaching out to organize the majority of citizens who want the plant replaced is an energizi ...ng experience for both the knocker and the knockee!

A few hours each month, working the grassroots face to face in key legislative districts has added a community driven dimension to our fight in Montpelier. We’ve got a great crew of people who will show you the ropes. We also distribute important informational materials across the state. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll discover how easy and rewarding door to door democracy is.

Please join us, the Legislature opens in less than 200 days!

Please call Harvey if you wish to car pool.
