Hailing from the mean streets of Long Beach, CA is the all-girl "Femme Fetale Punk Rock" band Civet. These four ladies, fresh outta charm school, have been playing together for about four years. Civet consists of sisters in crime Ms. Liza Graves (lead vocals/guitar) and Suzi Homewrecker (guitar), backed by the lovely rythem section, Jacqui Valentine on bass and Danni Harrowyn on drums. After releasing their debut CD on skate-punk legend Duane Peters' Disaster Records in 2005 they hit the road and haven't slowed down since. They have received continuous press coverage and even garnered a "best punk band" nomination from the LA WEEKLY. Not your typical girl band, Civet offers up it's own brand of rock n' roll with a harder vocal edge. Think of a melodic Motorhead or classier Hole/Distillers. Girl gang vocals and pure aggression are Civet staples. The girls have definetly carved out they're own sound in a male dominated scene. Loud, sexy, and unapologetic, Civet are unafraid to go up against the boys and do rock n' roll right.
