Kalamazoo is once again host to the Big League Softball World Series. The 2009 series is being held August 6-12 at Vanderberg Park. Ten teams are competing for the title of 2009 Big League World Champions.

Big League Softball World Series Kalamazoo is celebrating 30 years of hosting a World Series ! In 1980 the Major and SR Divisions vied for titles here. Big League Softball World Series Tentative dates for the 2010 Big League Softball World Series (celebrating the 30th anniversary of a World Series in Kalamazoo): Teams arrive Tue., August 3, Practices on Wed., opening ceremonies and start of round robin play on Thursday, August 5 with the Parade of Champions and the Championship Game LIVE on ESPN2 (in ... primetime under the lights) on Wed., August 11! So mark your calendars and we'll see you in Kazoo!
