The National Institute of Flamenco proudly announces its latest production: Flamenco! Flamenco! Flamenco! Live at the historic KiMo Theatre in downtown Albuquerque, October 29th-October 30th at 7:30 pm. Two dynamic evenings of performances featuring Yjastros: The American Flamenco Repertory Company, Alma Flamenca, and ... Niños Flamencos-three powerful companies with over 60 dancers join forces in order to create a dynamic, tripartite entertainment experience!
The diversity and intensity in styles of the Encinias family - Eva Encinias Sandoval, Marisol Encinias, and Joaquin Encinias – will shine in this production featuring a range of choreographies highlighting the unique qualities of each company!
The performances will be accompanied by acclaimed flamenco musicians: Ricardo Anglada, guitar; Mario Febres, guitar; Vicente Griego, vocals; Eva Encinias Sandoval, vocals; and Joaquin Encinias on the cajon. Although all three companies are based in Albuquerque, never before have they shared the same stage. Each company presents a different performative perspective, yet all remain true to pure flamenco aesthetics, forms and motions.
Featuring the flamenco triple threat: Yjastros, Alma Flamenca and Ninos Flamencos!!!
