Phantom of the Paradise This is probably one of the stranger and "so-ugly-that-it-becomes-beautiful" movie I've ever seen. Very beautiful music, a strange plotline between the myth of Faust and Phantom of the opera, and fantastic filming by Brain De Palma (one of the very first use of splitscreen can be seen in this movie).
