Zoie was rescued from the streets of Allentown PA in early 2003 ... running down the yellow line of a major roadway. She was malnourished beyond belief , flea infested... thick callouses on her elbows obviously from being chained on some sort of concrete slab. The first day I had her... she would not let me back in my house..... but after much convincing... (and lots of treats!) I became her one and only. She came a long long way from what she was ... to become a loving, trusting, devoted companion.
